In 1967, Antonio Alamada founded a small metal scrap yard in the region of Girona in north-eastern Spain. Based on the principals of hard work, integrity and quality service, it was not long before Alamada became a leading name in the recycled metals industry. In 1993, Alamada sold 40% of its' operations to Makinnon Recycling Company, Ltd, an international brokerage firm, and in 2007, the well-known industrialist Abram Reznikov bought both firms, forming Alamak España Trade S.L.

It is from these humble roots and principals of quality products, professional service and concern for our environment that Alamak continues to build this reputation spanning three decades.

Today, as one of the largest suppliers of recycled metals and plastics in Spain, Alamak is fully committed to preserving the fragile environment in which we live.
